What kind of memory is worth claiming on xronogram?

Any second you would want to return to. It does not need to be a major milestone; an ordinary conversation, a decision, or a quiet moment before something changed are all valid reasons to give a second a place.

How is this different from posting a memory on social media?

A social post moves down a feed and loses context. A claimed Second stays at its exact place in a shared timeline, with the history before it and the possibility after it, and does not need to compete for attention to stay meaningful.

Do I need an exact timestamp to keep a memory?

It helps, but is not required. Use whatever record you have, a message, a photo, a journal entry, and choose the closest honest second if you cannot find an exact one.

Not everything meaningful should disappear into the next post.

xronogram is a place to give a moment somewhere to live, instead of letting it get buried under whatever gets posted next. You do not need a special occasion, only a second that still matters to you.

Moments this could hold

The moment you got news that changed your direction, good or difficult.
A conversation with someone you love that you still think about.
The exact time a decision was made that you are proud of.
The second before something ended, kept so the ending has a place too.
An ordinary Tuesday that turned out to matter more than it seemed to at the time.

Choosing an honest timestamp

Check messages, calls, photos, or journal entries near the memory; they often carry an exact timestamp you can trust more than recollection alone.
If the memory has no record, choose the time you associate with it and be honest in the caption that it is approximate.
The second does not need to be dramatic. An ordinary moment is a valid, and often more personal, choice than a headline event.
